a view across to st michael’s mount, this along side carn kenidjack and carn galva make up one the four tor enclosure so far identified in west penwith. seen here is the impressive giant bolder that announces the entrance to the tor enclosure on its south side. was it manipulated into place is conjecture, but small stones are visible beneath its tonnage by which this could be achieved using two such stones and swivelling it progressively into position. this is a boulder clearly chosen for its sculptural qualities probably found on site and reoriented to face towards marazion.
