sundown : slowdown. sunset over trendrine hill round barrows viewed from trevalgan. a group of three round barrows on trendrine hill. the southernmost of the barrows is a mound 14m in diameter and 2m high and kerbed by very large stones. it has the remains of a large cist with a displaced capstone at its centre. the largest and northermost barrow is a large cairn of stones some19m across and 2.6m high now topped with a trig point. the third barrow is a slight mound set between the other two. #trendrinehill, #barrows, #prehistory, #sundowm, #sunset, #goslow,
