rosewall hill famed for long and ancient history of tin mining is also an in many ways an recorded site of prehistory and ancient landscape with a few known monuments an odd standing stone and the remnants of a curbed stone cairn circle. however it has much more to offer; including many stones with solution basins, highly probable candidates for logan stones and propped stone monuments, a possible tor enclosure, strange rock formations which certainly emulate early quiots and dolmen. all yet to be added to the rich prehistory of west penwith. this short walk only gives a small glimpse of this. . |
